Exfoliate & Moisturize. Pharmagel Glyco 8: Product Review

Pharmagel Glyco 8 is the mother of all Pharmagel reparative moisturizers. This facial treatment is billed as the “premier facial-firming AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acid) complex” by Pharmagel and for good reason. This luxurious crème can dramatically improve your skin’s appearance and restore a healthy, youthful glow. Pharmagel Glyco 8 Anti-Aging Cream

Pharmagel Glyco 8 contains 8% glycolic acid, an AHA naturally found in sugar cane.  AHA’s gently remove dead cells, bacteria, free radicals and toxins from the skin.  In other words, they make your skin clear and smooth.

Glyco-8 also contains mixed fruit AHA’s to provide gentle exfoliation. Synthetic AHA’s are harsher and go deeper, but most need fruit-based AHA’s.  Additionally, Pharmagel Glyco 8 contains vitamins C, E and A, antioxidants that aid in firming and promote collagen production.

This is a product that costs a few dollars more than a straight moisturizer, but for that extra cost, you are fighting wrinkles.  If you’re looking for a powerful healer, you may want to give Glyco 8 a shot. It’s that fantastic.

Apply Pharmagel Glyco 8 nightly after cleansing. For best results,  pay particular attention to areas prone to fine lines and wrinkles (i.e., around the eyes, mouth and on the throat.)

$34.99 for 2 oz.
