If you have slightly oily or combination skin, this just might be the cleanser for you. The Astara Cleansing Gelee does a very fine job at cleaning deeply with just water and has a light citrus scent.
Astara Skin Care prides itself on feeding the skin the proper nutrients from foods. All of their products are natural, raw and in my opinion, work.
What you will first notice when using this cleanser is how little you have to use (a pea size for your entire face) and the fresh citrus scent.
One 6oz bottle of it will last you 8-10 months with daily use. At the price of $35, it is a bit more expensive than other cleanser ($20-$28), but the amount you use to cleanse with is significantly less.
Overall, my skin felt clean and a little tight after use. I have normal skin, without oiliness, so it dried me out A LITTLE, nothing significant. Others, with combination or oily skin, love this cleanser AND the Astara Toner. It rinses clean without residue, smells nice and lasts forever.
If you have combination or oily skin, this is a fabulous gel cleanser that is not only good for you, but good for the environment.
