I’m an ocean girl, and by that, I mean, I love all things related to the sea. So, when I heard about Clark’s Botanicals Smoothing Marine Cream, of course I had to try it.

Created to combat dryness while working as an anti-ager, Clark’s Botanicals Smoothing Marine Cream exfoliates, moisturizes and boosts the skin’s collagen production. It uses natural ingredients like glycolic acid, derived from sugar, and algae extracts to soften fine lines and wrinkles. The glycolic molecules are actually wrapped in soothing algae and yeast extracts to make it extra gentle. Jasmine Absolute, a precious essential oil, reduces inflammation, nurtures skin and stimulates collagen production.

This is how I used it…

• Before bedtime, I cleansed my skin with Clark’s Soothing Herbal Face Wash and then applied the Smoothing Marine Cream to my face, neck and decollate. (Those with acne or oily skin may want to use Clark’s Skin Clearing Face & Body Wash, which contains salicylic acid, first.)

• Once applied, I experienced a gentle tingle from the glycolic acid in the Smoothing Marine Cream as it exfoliated. Glycolic acid also increases skin’s natural production of hyaluronic acid, the body’s natural water trapping molecule which helps to naturally moisturize the skin from the inside out. Your ability to product hyaluronic acid naturally diminishes with age.

• If you use serums, be sure to place the serum onto cleansed skin first, and then follow with the Smoothing Marine Cream.

I love the way this product smells and feels on my skin. The consistency is creamy, but not heavy or greasy. With this product, a little bit really does go a long way. Clark’s Smoothing Marine Cream is an excellent anti-aging product for any skin type.
